George Triantis, the Charles J. Meyers Professor of Law and Business at Stanford, has been named dean ofStanford Law School, the university announced Tuesday.
Triantis,alsoa senior associate vice provost for research at the university, succeeds Paul Brest, who has been serving as interim dean since Jan. 1 following the departure of Robert Weisberg. Weisberg served as interim dean of SLS for three months until he stepped down due to his health.
