Speak to Scribe Valdez

• Paladin Rahmani tells you to bringScribe Valdez over because she has something to report.

Listen to Scribe Valdez's report

• Scribe Valdez picked up a signal in the area that if boosted can be used to reach out toElder Maxson.

Speak to Scribe Valdez

• Scribe Valdez will pull you aside after the report to tell you more about the mission.
• Select "I will find the transmitter" after asking questions to progress the story.

Locate the transmitter facility

• Go North of Vault 76 and south of Tyler County Fairgroundsto find the Transmission Station 1AT-U03

Find a way inside of the facility.

• Fight off the mole rats surrounding the building.
• When you approach the building you will see an hand scanner to a door that will not let you enter.
• Go behind the building and find the Enclave corpse leaning against the wall.
• Search the corpse to and takethe note labeled "Urgent Request".

• Open your Pip-Boy to your inventory notes to find out that scavengers were able to break into the building after a storm knocked the power out and reset the system.

Reset the power

• Open the lid and activate circuit breaker to reset the power.

Enter the transmitter facility

• Return to the front door and activate the hand scanner to open the door

• Enter into the Enclave Research Facility by interacting with a device near the door.

Explore the facility

• Approch the machine, SODUS in front of you and it welcome you to the Enclave Research Facility.

• SODUS will tell you that you can manually activate the transmitter and to head to decontaminationthe left where radiation and corpses are inhabiting the area.

• Left of decontamination, you will find a level 0terminal that will need to be hacked to open the door.

• Select "Remote Door Control" and "Open Door" to proceed into the room.
• Find and lockpick the door on the other side of the room.
• Proceed through the hall and down the stairs toopen the door to the research laboratory.

Escape the deadly gas

• SODUS will warn you that a biological hazard is in theresearch laboratory.
• Unlock the dooror a hack the terminal to open a door to escape tothe next room.

Explore the facility

• Fight off the Scorched Wendigo, Mothman, and various Insectsyou as you enter .

• If you have one skill in lockpicking you canunlock the next two doors leading further into the facility.

• Continue the right door to a room filled with glowing green tubes full of monsters and head to the door at the end of the hall.

• Defeat the Scorched Deathclaw in the room with the Radscorpion Stalker laying dead on the examination table.

• Search the Enclave corpse to the rightto find the Holding Cell Keycard.

• Continue up the stairs and use theHolding Cell Keycard on the ID card reader to open the door.

• Walk through the next door and up the stairs and through the next two doors to a cafeteria.

Clear out the Scorched

• Pass through the next two doors to find mobs of scorched scientists and officers.

• Hack the terminal to open the door to the next room.

• Head to the end of the hall, fight off the Scorched Scientist, and open the door at the end to the right of a clock.

• Go down the stairs and open the doorinto the flooded area tofight off more scorched.

• Enter through the double doors and head to the left to open the door.
• Walk up the stairs fight of the scorchedand head though the red door leading to the auditorium.
• Defeat the Scorched Chief wearing Power Armor and other various Scorched.
• Go to the transmission console and select Control Station ENCLAVE to find that the transmission controls have been disabled by the mainframe.

Find a way to use the transmitter

• Open the silver door to find the Administration Console in the office.

• Reset the communications system and select Register user for the mainframe access.

Register your handprint

• Activate the hand scanner.

Return to the lobby

• Return to the lobby and you will find Paladin Rahmani and Knight Shin waiting for you.
• Go to the doorleft of SODUS and use the hand scanner to open the door to the trasnmitter.
• Proceed through the halls and down the stairs.

Defeat SODUS

• Work withPaladin Rahmani and Knight Shin todefeat the XB-55.

Speak toPaladin Rahmani

• Tell Paladin Rahmani that you are going to install the Ultracite battery cell.

Install the Ultracite battery cell

• FollowKnight Shin and speak to him aboutPaladin Rahmani.

Check on Paladin Rahmani

• Speak toPaladin Rahmani about the future of the Brotherhood of Steel.
• If you select "Contacting the Elders might destroy us? There's something you're not telling me."then "What was this incident?" to find out more about the incident that occured.
• When youre ready to make your final decision, select "I understand. I'm ready to make a choice".

• Decide whether you want to take Knight Shins side by selecting "Knight Shin understands something you don't. I stand with him." or if you want to take Paladin Rahmani's side select "I'm loyal to you, Paladin. Let's destroy the transmitter".

• Paladin Rahmaniwill destroy the transmitter.

• Finish listening to Knight Shin andPaladin Rahmani to complete the quest.
