The Spice Girls are one of the all time best girl bands. That is not up for debate. They are strong role models for a lot of 90s kids who listened to their music and their interviews. They were always pretty awesome at telling people to be who they are and were vocal about feminism.
Emma Bunton AKA Baby Spice will be turning 41 on January 21st, 2017 and to celebrate the pop star's birthday, let's learn a little bit more about her!
1. She wasn't an original Spice Girl!
She actually started as an actress in 1992, but when she received a call from Victoria Beckham inviting her to replace Michelle Stephenson as the fifth Spice Girl, she switched gears.

5. She is tougher than you might think
Her mom ran a karate studio and she got to a blue belt.
