  1. Hello! I was thrilled to find this resource. I’m loving my casserole slow cooker, though, like others, I didn’t use it much at first. My favorite thing recently was cooking grilled cheese sliders (to accompany a roasted tomato soup). This was for the backstage crew at our church to be eaten throughout two services. I fried them up traditionally using King’s Hawaiian rolls, in fours, then placed them in the casserole cooker, which was lined with lightly crumpled aluminum foil so the bottom layer wouldn’t burn. I was able to get two layers of slider grilled cheese, a total of 20 I think. They stayed warm and melted. THIS success led me to try the popular casserole sliders! An added bonus to the casserole cooker. :o)

  2. I have made candied sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner. I just used my basic recipe that I usually cook in the oven. I just kept an eye on the progress and it turned out very yummy. Unfortunately, I don’t remember exactly I cook it, since I was experimenting.

    2. It won’t hold a 9×13 but I put frozen shepard’s pie and stuff like that in there and walk away. Put it in at lunch time or whenever and done when you’re ready to eat.

  4. Thank you for sharing these recipes! I’ve had my casserole slow cooker for almost 2 years and barely use it because I can’t find recipes. Not that I’ve been trying constantly, but I tried a few times and gave up. I’m going to give several of these a try – love all the veggies, and the ingredients in general like great!

  5. is there a cookbook especially for this 9x 13 crockpot that I could view the recipes before I buy it.? soo many times these cookbooks have about 7 or 8 recipes that you think sounds good and the rest are horrible. I bought one for a friend at Christmas and she loves it. I would like to have one too, but can’t find which company I bought it from. just remember it was specifically for this 9 x 13. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    2. I’d try recipiesthatcrock.com I have found many there, but also check out some crock pot cookbooks from the library. There are MANY traditional crock pot recipes out there that I have found are actually better suited to this casserole crock pot. Desserts, main & side dishes, lots of good variety. I have never regretted buying my casserole crock pot. 🙂
